Reimagining Fundraising-Data-Driven Principles

Presented by: Valerie M. Jones, CFRE, Principal, Valerie M. Jones Associates

Synopsis: The math is inescapable.

Nonprofits are hemorrhaging funds and one in ten Americans is unemployed. Government and foundation efforts helped in the short term, but how will you survive the long haul? Will you fight harder for fewer crumbs of a shrinking funding pie?

Or will you learn to make more pie?

Early in the pandemic, Valerie M. Jones, CFRE, emerged as an expert on fundraising through the onslaught of Covid-19. More than 100 nonprofits and concerned board members sought her advice this spring. She helped them think clearly, revisit assumptions and optimize resources they didn’t know they had. Jones has shared her novel approach with Philadelphia’s Arts & Business Council, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Nonprofit University and she can help you.

Learning Goals:

  • Expand resources by re-thinking time
  • Reimagine and activate board strengths
  • Jettison old definitions to embrace “fleet fundraising”
  • Learn to create more funding pie for your cause, based on the latest data and illustrated with real-life client case studies
