Each year, we take time during the Collaborative Conference to honor organizations for various achievements in the Standards for Excellence®. On Tuesday, September 19, and again on Wednesday, September 20, we’ll celebrate the following organizations for achieving Basics Recognition, Standards Accreditation, or Accreditation Renewal in the past 12 months. Standards for Excellence® offers tools and resources to support nonprofits in meeting the highest standards, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance of nonprofit governance, management, and operations. Through the Standards, PANO offers an Accreditation and Basics Recognition process, trainings, the Standards for Excellence Ethics and Accountability Code, and educational resources.
More than an accreditation program, the tools, resources, and education available through the Standards help strengthen organizations from within, focusing on six core areas:
